The Way of Pope Francis – new book

Rome, December 21st, 2016. Daniel Solymári C.G.M. – member of MMLSZ - and Tamás Pallós, cultural editor of the Hungarian Catholic review “New Man”, today presented a copy of their book “The Way of Pope Francis: 21st century conversations” to the Holy Father, in the Paul VI Hall of the Vatican. Pope Francis was greatly pleased with the gift, and looked with interest at this first theological-sociological work produced about him by Hungarian writers. He signed a copy with his name in Hungarian, Ferenc. At the end of the meeting, asked if he had any message for Hungarians, he replied: “I am praying for them”, and closed the meeting with a greeting in Hungarian.

The book’s twelve chapters each contain an interview with a Hungarian personality, providing twelve different approaches to the thoughts of the “reformist Pope”. The twelve are: Emőke Bagdy, Miklós Beer, Tamás Fabiny, Beata Farkas, Csaba Haranghy, Agnes Heller, Slomo Köves, Imre Kozma, Jolán Oláh, Tivadar Tulassay, Asztrik Várszegi and Silvester Vizy.
